2013 Vibram Open - The Am Side

One of the premier Am disc golf events in the world? Should we do it again?!!?!?!

YES! We are doing it again. The kick buttocks player pack, the Sunday cut, the multiple courses, and a spot on Team Vibram up for grabs.

We are making a few good changes in order to provide an even better experience.
  1. The Am Side will be held two weeks before the Pro Side. Last year we did not have any additional staff for the Am Side and that lessened the experience. This year we will have staff on site and the players will better experience the sense of playing in The Vibram. Additionally, many Am players would have liked to have staffed for the Pros but were unable to due to the events being run at the same time.
  2. One round on Friday, two rounds on Saturday. We will be starting at noon on Friday in an attempt to give players a bit more time to get here and, if necessary, take less time off of work.
  3. The 2013 edition will be a PDGA B-Tier. We want to increase the standing and professionalism of the event, and raising our tier demonstrates this to the players.

The Basics

PDGA B-Tier - 144 Players - $75 entry fee - Trophy Only
Winner will be offered:
  • Paid spot into the Vibram Open
  • Spot on Team Vibram

August 9th to 11th - Friday to Sunday

Friday: Maple Hill Whites, tee times starting at Noon
Saturday: Two rounds (Hylands and Webster)
Sunday: (if you make the cut) on Maple Hill Golds

Registration opens April 1, 2013.

Players that made the cut in 2012 may pre-register in March.
