- In 2004, Steve Brinster tied Ron Russell with a clutch birdie putt.
- In 2005, Walter Haney tied Kevin McCoy, also with a clutch birdie putt.
- In 2006, Barry Schultz missed a lead-tying 15 foot putt to seal the deal for Chris Sprague's unlikely Cinderella story.
- In 2007, Cale Leiviska pulled within one stroke of Geoff Bennett with a huge drive and upshot leading to a birdie. He would go on to win the tourney.
- In 2008, Avery Jenkins opened the door with a bogey here in the second round. He would close it again in the final round and go on to win by seven strokes.
This hole sets up perfectly for the 18th. Don't bother with your weak sauce.
